This luxury self catering accommodation for two is a light and airy space, which forms part of a newly built
self contained extension to our home in the quiet village of Hardraw. The accommodation has all the comforts of
a new build. But with the use of traditional natural materials, new and old have been tastefully blended together
to create a truly relaxing space, with quality contemporary décor throughout.
Hardraw village which sits at the foot of Great Shunner Fell has a Pub, Tearoom and Gallery and is home to the famous Hardraw Force. Across the valley (approx 1.5 miles) is the busy little market town of Hawes. The whole area is great for all types of walking.

HALFWAY COTTAGE, Near Hawes.
Halfway Cottage as the name suggests sits in an elevated position half way between Hawes and the hamlet of Appersett. The far reaching views across the beautiful upper dale are wonderful. The river Ure meanders just 500 metres from the door and a lovely footpath guides you along its bank and then back into Hawes.
The cottage has been sympathetically renovated, combining its original Georgian features with quality contemporary décor. Polished wood floors, cast iron fire places and original stripped doors give a period charm to the cottage. This is tastefully blended with quality furnishings and modern comforts. The cottage is ideal as a romantic retreat for a couple or can comfortably accommodate a family of four.
FIRST FLOOR
Master bedroom, with king size cast iron bed stead, antique furniture, polished floor and rugs. Superb view.
Twin bedroom, antique pine floor and furniture, also lovely garden view.
Spacious shower room with quality shower and large cubicle. Period style toilet and wash basin, large heated towel rail and shaver point.
GROUND FLOOR
Kitchen /Dining area. Spacious and well equipped fitted kitchen, storage/drying area. Electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, dish washer, fridge, freezer, washer, iron/ironing board. Tiled floor throughout. Door to south facing patio and pretty garden, ideal for out door dining.
Sitting Room. Spacious but cosy with open fire, leather tub three piece suite, solid wood floor and rugs. Sky TV basic package, DVD player and CD radio.
